Chris Herd will step up his comeback from an ankle injury in tonight's reserve clash against Swansea at Parc y Scarlets [kick-off 7pm].
The Australian utility man made his return last week when he played an hour of the second string's 4-1 victory over West Bromwich Albion.
Eric Lichaj and Nathan Baker are also in the line-up this evening as the boys in claret and blue look to extend their advantage at the top of the Barclays Premier Reserve League South to six points.
The last time the two sides met at this level was at Hinckley in December when Daniel Johnson and Michael Drennan fired Villa to victory after Stephen Dobbie put the Swans in front.
Villa have been in scintillating form in recent weeks with the win over the Baggies taking their goal tally to 14 from their last three outings, following on from a 7-1 triumph over Wolves and a 3-0 win against Fulham.
However, a string of international call-ups will mean a much-changed line-up this evening.
Andreas Weimann - scorer of hat-tricks against Wolves and West Brom - is away with Austria U21s, while Barry Bannan has received a senior Scotland call-up and Gary Gardner has been selected by England U21s.
Academy hotshots Connor Taylor and Callum Robinson will lead the line in Weimann's absence.
