He chats fondly about his temporary stay at Villa and his thoughts about returning to the club in the future.

The Republic of Ireland legend also discusses the academy set-up at Villa - and the plethora of classy young aces in the ranks.

He singles out Gary Gardner, Ciaran Clark and Barry Bannan for special praise.

Keane also backs the manager to get things right, insisting that Villa are currently experiencing a "transitional phase."

The three-goal hero also previews the weekend encounter with Wigan, how he sees the clash panning out and his hopes for a happy send-off.
