Fabian Delph says there's a stunning support system at Villa - with the players seeing the squad as one big family.
Delph wants to get back into the team as soon as possible and insists there's "extra determination in my footsteps".
But if he doesn't manage it, he'll be backing whoever gets picked ahead of him.
The midfield ace even gives his fellow stars a pep talk before each game as an added form of encouragement.
He said: "I like to think I work hard every day but there's an extra determination in my footsteps at the minute.
"I haven't started in the last four games but I can't complain because the midfield has been playing really well.
"As soon as I get my chance to get back in, I will try as hard as I can and give it everything out on that pitch for Aston Villa.
"We have some top midfielders - Stiliyan, Herdy, Jermaine and Barry.
"Jermaine has been itching to get out there and impress. He's determined and he's in really good shape too. I'm sure he'll be flying when he gets his chance.
"It's healthy for the team to have real competition around the place. It keeps everyone on their toes.Everyone is fighting.
"No matter who's in the team, the other players are always positive and encouraging. It's like a family.
"Everyone wants everyone else to excel. Before kick-off I go up to the players wishing them all the best for the game. Everyone is together."
