Fabian Delph returned to training today after recovering from the virus which kept him out of the West Brom clash.
Delph had to be pulled out the evening before the Baggies clash after suffering in the night with a sickness bug.
But he was back with the lads as Alex McLeish put the players through their paces at the half-term opening training session.
Delph smiled his way through the 45-minute workout - and boss McLeish thinks there's more to come from the midfielder.
McLeish said: "He was out of the West Brom game with a virus.
"We got early indications the morning before that he would not make it. The doctor visited him at 1am and he was vomiting.
"He must have been a bit distressed.
"He would have been in the 18 for the game.
"We have pushed Fabian back into the limelight after being out for a long time injury-wise and the he has played nine games in a row and he should be proud of that.
"There is more to come from him too. I know he is a guy who cares and studies his game, looks over it again with the IT guy.
"He is someone who wants to be as good as he can be."
