Bent called up for double header of England Euro 2012 qualifiers

Darren Bent returns to the England squad for the double header of matches against Bulgaria and Wales.

Bent missed out on the call-up for the match with Holland after picking up a shoulder injury.

The friendly was subsequently cancelled as a result of the riots.

But the star striker is back in Fabio Capello's 25-man party as he looks to impress in the Euro 2012 qualifiers.

The Three Lions travel to Sofia for the first of the two games against the Bulgarians on Friday September 2 before entertaining Wales at Wembley on Tuesday September 6.

Former Villa midfielder Ashley Young is also involved after helping Manchester United to an 8-2 win over Arsenal.
