Kyle Walker and Marc Albrighton are clearly made of the 'right' stuff on the pitch - and now they're looking to prove they have what it takes off it too as they get set for their commentating debuts.

Walker and Albrighton will join Jack Woodward on AVTV as they give their expert opinion on matters during the 90 minutes as Villa face Sheffield United in the FA Youth Cup semi-final first leg.

Both players have come up through the youth ranks of their respective clubs and know the importance of football at this level so they are ideal stars to summarise the action.

Woodward said: "It will be a pleasure to work with Kyle and Marc. I am really looking forward to it.

"I'm used to working with former players like Tony Morley and Ken McNaught but it's great to work with one of the current stars this time.

"If they talk on the microphone with the same authority and enthusiasm they show on the pitch, AVTV listeners are in for a real treat.

"Kyle, of course, has been brilliant for Villa but is a Sheffield United fan, having growing up as a Blades supporter from a young age.

"I'm sure he will be cheering for Villa on the night but if he does get overexcited about the attacks of our opponents, Marc will be on hand to put him straight."

Villa face the Blades on Wednesday [kick-off 7pm], with youth coach Tony McAndrew hoping for a bumper crowd on the night.

Admission is free to season ticket holders and JV Life members on production of their season/membership cards at turnstiles in the Trinity Road Stand.
