Forrester makes loan switch to Kilmarnock

Harry Forrester has completed a loan move to Scottish Premier League side Kilmarnock.

The highly-rated forward will join Mixu Paatelainen's team until January and is in line to make his debut at Aberdeen on Saturday.

It will be an ideal opportunity for Forrester to get his first taste of senior football, having impressed at reserve and youth level for Villa.

The 20-year-old helped Tony McAndrew's under-18s side top their Barclays Premier Academy League group in 2007-08.

The former Watford youngster also began to earn more opportunities for Villa's title-winning reserve team last season.

He will be keen to help Killie recover from a disappointing start to the SPL season.

The Rugby Park outfit have suffered defeats to Rangers and Motherwell in their opening top flight clashes.
