Aston Villa Football club recognises the importance of charities and community groups, as well as the positive impact that the club can have to help to generate revenues for these causes.
We typically receive over 100 requests for donations to good causes each month and whilst we would love to support every worthwhile cause, this is not possible due to the incredible volume of requests received daily.
Aston Villa Foundation, on behalf of Aston Villa, endeavour to support a vast array of local charities.
We also understand that there are many dedicated individuals fundraising for numerous worthwhile causes and whilst we are keen to support as many as possible, to ensure we meet expectations we are required to have strict criteria in place.
The focus for the club is to support local organisations and community groups in the Birmingham area.
We are also unable to process requests raising money for individuals in difficult circumstances, schools and anything other than a registered charity.
We aim to have a fair process in place which supports as many people as possible. All requests must come through the online application form and must be requested a minimum of six weeks before any event date.
Due to player commitments, our fundraising request period is open between August-May, and will be closed off to applications outside of this timeframe.
