Aston Villa Foundation is a registered charity that delivers projects and activities in Birmingham across four key themes; sport & recreation, health & wellbeing, education & development, and inclusion & community cohesion
Our mission is to Use Aston Villa Football Club as a vehicle to impact on local people, neighbourhoods and communities by addressing key local priorities.
We will achieve this by working effectively in three key areas:
- Delivering a portfolio of projects and interventions across our four strategic themes.
- Collaborate and work in partnership with other organisations and key stakeholders to maximise available resources, expertise and impact.
- Strengthening our role and relationships in the local community.
Please visit each of the pages dedicated to these areas of work and find out more about the work we do.

Support The Aston Villa Foundation
As a registered charity, The Aston Villa Foundation’s work would not be possible without the fantastic support of organisations and individuals.
We aim to continue to grow and deliver innovative programmes of the highest quality to support people across Birmingham and beyond. But to do that, we need your help.
Please support us in any of the following ways:
If you would like to make a direct donation to support our work, please click the following button.
We deliver activities that benefit over 32,000 people every year. It costs us approximately £26 for each child we support through our healthy lifestyle and nutrition programme - which sees over 3000 children take part each year.
We have a growing army of supporters raising funds in aid of our work. You can find some of our fundraisers on JustGiving.
Our supporters have taken part in a wide range of challenge events, from running to abseiling to volunteering at a school in Kenya. But it doesn’t have to be as adventurous. Other people have held activities like coffee mornings to show their appreciation for our work.
If you’re thinking of entering a challenge event and would like to raise funds to support The Aston Villa Foundation, then we’d love to hear from you. We can help promote your campaign, as well as providing you with a The Aston Villa Foundation t-shirt so you can show your loyalty at the event.
And did you know, you can raise funds in aid of The Aston Villa Foundation if you’re selling an item on eBay? We are listed as a charity on eBay, so if you have some unwanted memorabilia you’re thinking of selling by auction to raise funds, you’d simply need to select The Aston Villa Foundation as the charity to benefit.
There are several ways that businesses can help us to support more people across Birmingham and beyond.
We welcome businesses that are interested in providing corporate partnership. By supporting our work financially, and demonstrating your commitment to corporate responsibility, we will help to recognize the contribution of your organisation through a variety of ways.
Perhaps your company has taken on a young person who benefited from one of our programmes, or perhaps your business shares our ethos in supporting young people to ‘get into’ the following areas: Get Active (and into Sport), Get Smart (Education and Skills), Get Healthy (Healthy lifestyle), Get Together (Build a more cohesive and inclusive city).
If you would like to discuss a corporate partnership with The Aston Villa Foundation, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Does your business have a matched giving scheme that supports employees who raise funds for charitable causes? Or do you operate a charity of the year? If so, please consider supporting our work.

Engagement with Birmingham
One of the aims of the club is to ensure that our fanbase is reflective of the city and region that we are based in. Birmingham and surrounding areas are rich with diversity and the wonderful aspect of Villa Park is that we are able to bring that diversity together under one name - Aston Villa.
However our aim is not just to give our fans and community a great welcome and fantastic experience at Villa Park but to go out and meet people in their own communities.
We attend all the major events that are organised by the City Council as well as more localized events run by different community groups. We want everyone to know that they are welcome at Villa Park and that Aston Villa welcomes their support and the best way to do this is going out and meeting people.
If you have a major event that you would like us to attend please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Aston Villa Football Club are proud to support our British Armed Forces and maintain strong working relationships with the Army, Navy, Marines and Royal Air Force. We recognize the hard work and dedication of the military, and offer continual support where we can to serving personnel.
We have an unconditional agreement with the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine (RCDM), at the QE Hospital in Birmingham, offering support in the rehabilitation of many injured servicemen and contribute to their welfare when possible.
