Conor Hourihane and Ahmed Elmohamady returned to Aston Villa's starting XI for their Premier League encounter against Crystal Palace.
Republic of Ireland international midfielder Hourihane was recalled by Dean Smith following Thursday’s defeat to Manchester United, with Anwar El Ghazi dropping to the bench.
Kortney Hause was initially named in the XI but the defender was replaced by Elmohamady ahead of kick-off due to a suspected injury in the pre-match warm-up.
Fit-again Matt Targett was named on the substitutes bench for the encounter at Villa Park (ko 2.15pm).
