The battle for local bragging rights remains on this Saturday as Aston Villa go head-to-head against Wolves – with a twist!
With all Premier League action currently suspended, the midlands neighbours are unable to face off in what was their scheduled match at Villa Park.
But derby spoils remain up for grabs – and it's all for charity to raise funds for Acorns Children's Hospice!
FIFA 20 on PS4 will be the stage as Villa, represented by defender Ezri Konsa, take on Wolves, who’s player will be forward Diogo Jota.
Saturday’s kick-off remains at 12.30pm, with two 10-minute halves and online squads to ensure real player ratings are used for authenticity.
Villa fans can watch all the action unfold live on VillaTV.
The fixture was due to be Acorns’ dedicated takeover day, with 40 volunteer bucket collectors located around Villa Park to help collect donations.
But, in light of the postponement, the club have worked closely with both Wolves and the charity to ensure we can all still show our support - helping to raise as much money as possible for a fantastic cause.
Acorns Children’s Hospice provides a network of specialist palliative nursing care and support for babies, children and young people aged 0-18 who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and associated complex needs.
Acorns relies on the community to fund the majority of its activities.
So enjoy the match, get involved and donate to a midlands charity who do incredible work in the community.
On behalf of Aston Villa, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Acorns Children’s Hospice, thank you, as always, for your magnificent support!
