5 reasons to be at Aston Villa vs Watford

Aston Villa return to Villa Park on Tuesday night for a big Premier League clash against Watford.

With vital points up for grabs against the Hornets, the team will need vocal support from the stands, and you can buy your ticket for the game here

Here are five reasons why you should be there…

1] Under the lights

There’s always a unique buzz in the air for a night game at Villa Park.

And with plenty at stake against the Hornets, this is a game where the support of the home fans could prove to be the difference.

Villa are unbeaten in their five night games at home this season, winning four of those encounters.

2] High stakes

With just one point separating the two teams, this game carries huge importance for both sides.

Villa are currently occupying the final relegation spot, but a win on Tuesday would lift them up to 16th as West Ham aren’t in action.

There are 14 games left to play after this one but both teams will have it marked down as one they need to win.

3] Reina debuts at Villa Park

Pepe Reina has played at Villa Park a number of times before when he was keeping goal for Liverpool.

The Spaniard marked Villa Park out as one of his favourite grounds to play at in English football, so he’ll be relishing the prospect of walking out as an Aston Villa player.

And after a strong debut away at Brighton, the home fans will be eager to see what he can do on home turf.

4] Out for revenge

Dean Smith marked down the 3-0 loss to Watford at Vicarage Road as one of Villa’s worst displays of the season.

The December defeat is still fresh in the memory, and Smith and his team will be keen to avenge it on Tuesday night.

With home advantage on their side this time, Villa will be hopeful of nullifying Watford and their chief tormentor Troy Deeney.

5] Homegrown hero

Jack Grealish has arguably been one of the best players to watch in the Premier League this season.

The No.10 has shown his class time and again, running at defences and scoring spectacular goals.

Grealish relishes the big occasion, and with a vocal crowd behind him at Villa Park, you’ll want to be there to see if he can continue his great form.
