October 2019: Norwich City 1-5 Aston Villa
A brace from Wesley helped Villa secure their first away points of the season as the goals flowed at Carrow Road.
The Brazilian netted the first two goals before Jack Grealish put the finishing touches to a superb team move at the start of the second half.
Conor Hourihane and Douglas Luiz sent the away fans delirious with long-range strikes before Josip Drmic grabbed a late consolation.
March 2014: Aston Villa 4-1 Norwich City
The Villans came roaring back from an early Wes Hoolahan goal to record a memorable Villa Park victory.
Christian Benteke scored a stunning overhead kick to level the scores before he headed his team in front two minutes later.
Leandro Bacuna curled in the third before a Sebastien Bassong own goal wrapped up the scoring before half-time.
December 2012: Norwich City 1-4 Aston Villa
Villa reached the League Cup semi-finals with a convincing fifth round victory at Carrow Road.
The visitors scored three times in the final 11 minutes through an Andi Weimann double and Christian Benteke to stun the Canaries.
Brett Holman had earlier levelled the game following Steve Morison’s opener.
November 2011: Aston Villa 3-2 Norwich City
Darren Bent was at the double as his team came from behind to sink Norwich in the Premier League.
Anthony Pilkington gave the Canaries the lead, but it lasted only five minutes before Bent hit back for the hosts.
Gabby Agbonlahor struck minutes after half-time and Bent made it 3-1 before Norwich set up a nervy finish through Steve Morison.
March 1993: Norwich City 1-0 Aston Villa
This top of the table clash was notable for a number of reasons, despite Villa coming out on the losing end.
Cyrille Regis played his last game for the club before a move to Wolves as John Polston scored an 81st minute winner for the Canaries.
Villa had the last laugh, however, finishing two points above Norwich and securing a second-place finish in the Premier League.
March 1975: Aston Villa 1-0 Norwich City
The late Ron Saunders guided Villa to their second League Cup triumph at the old Wembley Stadium.
Having been on the losing side in the League Cup final with his previous clubs Norwich and Manchester City in the two years prior, Saunders could finally celebrate in front of 95,946 fans.
Ray Graydon was the hero on the day as the tucked home the rebound after his penalty had been tipped onto the post.
