Match FIT returns for a third season later this month, offering participants the chance to take control of their diet, lifestyle and exercise regime with weekly sessions at Villa Park.
Open to anyone over the age of 18, the sessions are run by the Aston Villa Foundation’s health and wellbeing professionals with an emphasis on healthy eating and physical activity.
The programme is run in the Dave Targett Suite over the course of 12 weeks, with the new season beginning on 14th October.
Health and Wellbeing manager Ryan Hollings said: “Match FIT has been running successfully since the start of the year, helping people lose weight and change their diets.
“We educate participants about food groups and meal preparation, combined with helping to improve their physical endurance.
“It’s an exciting programme that has helped people lead healthier and more active lifestyles.”
The sessions utilise gym equipment in tailored exercise sessions to improve physical fitness.
A professional kitchen in the Dave Targett Suite also provides the perfect setting for meal preparation and nutritional advice.
Match FIT begins on 14th October and will run for 12 weeks every Monday from 6:30-8pm.
