Aston Villa midfielder Marvelous Nakamba says there is still plenty to come following his solid start to life in the Premier League.
The Zimbabwean made his top-flight debut against West Ham Untied in last Monday's goalless draw, and his defensive game attracted praise from Head Coach Dean Smith.
Nakamba made his Villa bow against Crewe Alexandra in last month's Carabao Cup tie, and has been steadily building his fitness in a bid to become central to the gaffer's plans.
Now, he's hoping to keep his place for the trip to Arsenal on Sunday, and insists he's got a lot more in the locker for the campaign ahead.
He said: "It's been a case of so far, so good. It’s been fantastic.
“Everyone is helping me to settle, I’m pushing myself as well. My team-mates have done everything to make me feel good, too.
“There is always room for improvement and it can get better. But I feel good, I’ve had the experience of my debut.
"Given the opportunity, I will tell myself to give everything every time, in football there are no limits, There is always room for improvement.
“You can always get better and better and better. Compared to other leagues, the Premier League is different level. Now I want to improve."
