Richard O'Kelly says the atmosphere created at a sell-out home match still makes the hairs on the back of his neck stand up, and that he can't wait to return to Villa Park this weekend.
Our Assistant Coach recalls fondly the first ever game for himself, Dean Smith and John Terry against Swansea City last October, insisting the buzz remains the same every time he walks out.
He also believes those raucous atmospheres can give us an extra edge in the Premier League this term, saying we're a better team at home because of it.
He said: "I cast my mind back to the first time we all went there as coaching staff for the Swansea game last season.
"I haven't got much hair on my head, but I can tell you the hairs stood up on the back of my neck. They do just thinking about what it's going to be like on Saturday.
"The support they gave us in those first few weeks and throughout the season was incredible. They'll be the 12th man again.
"In the Premier League, it's always about getting any edge that you can because of the quality of the sides.
"We're a better offensive team at home, because the supporters give you that drive.
"You get another 10 yards out of people. They have a big part to play."
