Friday media watch [16.08.19]: Mings tipped for England Matchday guide: Aston Villa v Bournemouth
New to Villa Park: All the changes for the 2019/20 season

We've been hard at work over the summer making essential improvements to Villa Park, ensuring it's ready for our record number of Season Ticket Holders ahead of the Premier League campaign.

Since Wembley, we've added touch-ups all around the stadium and Villa Village, introduced a brand new food menu for certain concourses and even have new Villa-exclusive beer available to supporters all over the ground.

See below the changes in full as we kick-off the 2019/20 season at home to Bournemouth on Saturday.

Same tradition, modern look

We've livened up Villa Park with all new branding over the last few weeks, giving the outside a fresh look for our Premier League season.

There's now new and improved crests, signage, flags and artwork around the stadium, while the North Stand/Villa Village areas now have improved accessibility for all supporters.

Our Academy building is also undergoing a revamp, with iconic moments from our history displayed along Witton Lane, preceding a new entrance to the Family Fun Zone.

The pinnacle of our changes sees a large scale Part Of The Pride banner occupy the space above the ticket office, featuring key moments and players from our glorious past.

And the North Stand now adorns two more recent legends – Dean Smith and Jack Grealish, proudly holding the Play-Off Final trophy.

Spicin' it up

Supporters can now look forward to a refined food menu in certain concourses this term, after we took the decision to add greater variety to our menu.

Three brand-new kiosk types - Guru Spice, Chicken Shack and Roast – will be trialled in concourses around Villa Park with a view to expanding into more areas in the future.

Check out the host of new choices on offer and where each new kiosk is below.

Card payments

We've installed more card machines around the stadium over the summer, as we gradually encourage supporters to use card payment and help create a smoother, more efficient service on matchday.

You can, as ever, use your Season Card to pay with eCash and collect points after purchasing as part of our Pride Rewards scheme.

Please use your pin the first time you pay with your Villa card, which can be found in your Rewards portal.

After this, you can use it as contactless. Kiosks accepting cash can be seen on the map above.

Card is accepted everywhere, cash will only be accepted at these kiosks.

New Official Ale Supplier

We welcomed Purity Brewing as an Official Supplier earlier this week.

The Warwickshire-based brewery will supply a range of draught and packed award-winning ales and craft beers across the stadium concourses and hospitality areas.

An exclusive Pale Ale to mark our return to the Premier League has been commissioned, and will be available in bottles from this weekend.

Season Cards for new or returning Aston Villa Season Ticket Holders have now been posted.

If you are yet to receive yours, please contact the Ticket Office on 0333 323 1874.
