Dean Smith is confident of having injured trio Anwar El Ghazi, Ezri Konsa and Jed Steer available this weekend for the Premier League opener with Tottenham.
We start our campaign on Saturday, with a 5.30pm kick-off for the Sky Sports cameras.
El Ghazi came off in the second half at RB Leipzig while Konsa and Steer weren’t involved in our final pre-season games over in Germany.
However, Head Coach Smith was positive about their availability against Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
He said: “Ezri has had a bit of niggling thigh. It’s nothing too much to worry about. He should be training Tuesday or Wednesday this week.
“Jed picked up a heel injury so he didn’t travel to Germany with us. He should be training at the back end of the week, too.
“Anwar should be fine for the weekend.”
