Aston Villa Ladies will play two pre-season fixtures at home as they prepare for the upcoming FA Women’s Championship season.
Gemma Davies’ team will take on Stoke City on 21st July (3pm KO) before welcoming Super League side Everton to Boldmere St Michaels FC on 26th July (7.30pm KO).
Entry to both fixtures will cost just £1 and tickets will be available from the turnstile on the day.
The Ladies are looking to build on an impressive first season under Davies’ leadership, growing into the campaign before losing just one of their last 11 games as they finished sixth.
Davies said: “We’re aiming to pick up where we left off last season and make a fast start to the league season.
“Our pre-season fixtures will be crucial in helping us to prepare for the season ahead and we hope we’ll see a lot supporters at Boldmere later this month.”
In addition to the two home games, Villa will also visit FA Cup finalists West Ham United in a behind closed doors game before they finish off their pre-season preparations against Nottingham Forest.
The Ladies’ first league game of the season was drawn earlier this week, handing them a home tie against Sheffield United on 18th August (3pm KO).
The full fixture list is scheduled for release on 10th July, with Villa set to play Blackburn Rovers, Charlton Athletic, Coventry United, Crystal Palace, Durham, Leicester City, Lewes, London Bees and London City Lionesses in addition to the Blades.
Season tickets are also on sale for the Ladies, with a saving of £34 on an adult ticket against the on the day price for attending all 12 home matches.
