Bodymoor Heath has an upbeat mood after a record-breaking run of wins – and it soared even higher this week with the return to training of club captain James Chester.
Chester has been out with a knee injury for the past three months and hasn’t featured in the claret and blue since the 2-1 win over Ipswich Town in January.
But he was back out on the fields of the training ground on the eve of the penultimate regular season game at Leeds United.
Head Coach Dean Smith revealed the news at the pre-match press conference – and despite not being quite there yet in terms of match fitness – it was hugely positive news on Chester.
