Callum O’Hare earned man of the match as Carlisle United drew 1-1 at League Two promotion rivals Exeter City.   

O’Hare played 90 minutes and impressed with his high-energy approach in the forward areas. 

Nicky Law gave the visitors a half-time lead, but Jamie Devitt's 78th-minute free-kick kept the Cumbrians one point ahead of their opponents in fifth. 

BreeIpswichJames Bree played 90 minutes as Ipswich Town went down 3-0 in the East Anglian derby to Norwich City. 

Former Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert was sent off for the Tractor Boys in an altercation with the opposition bench as the Canaries moved two points clear at the top of the Championship. 

The hosts had led after just 82 seconds when Onel Hernandez steered in from close range. Teemu Pukki added to make it 2-0 and he then also poked in a third to put the game beyond reach.

Gary Gardner played 90 minutes for Birmingham City as they defeated QPR 4-3 in a remarkable game at Loftus Road. 

Blues were four goals to the good after 42 minutes, thanks to a Che Adams hat-trick and Harlee Dean's effort. 

Matt Smith scored either side of half-time for the hosts and Jordan Cousins reduced the deficit to 4-3 before an amazing finish when Nakhi Wells missed a last minute penalty for Rangers. 

RHMCambridgeRushian Hepburn-Murphy played 66 minutes while Jake Doyle-Hayes had 10 minutes of action after coming off the bench as Cambridge United earned a 1-0 home win over Port Vale. 

Hepburn-Murphy started but was replaced by Reggie Lambe while Doyle-Hayes replaced goalscorer David Amoo in the final moments. 

Amoo cut inside from the right and saw his left-footed shot from outside the box deflect home.

Mitchell Clark played the full 90 minutes for Port Vale at Abbey Stadium as he came up against fellow U23 regulars Hepburn-Murphy and Doyle-Hayes. 

Corey Blackett-Taylor was a 72nd minute substitute for Walsall as they went down 2-0 at Blackpool in League One. 

Blackett-Taylor replaced Matt Jarvis as the promotion-chasing Seassiders moved to within four points of the top six.

Chris Long put them ahead and Harry Pritchard sealed the points late on. 

DeLaetAusRitchie De Laet played 70 minutes for Melbourne City in their 1-1 draw with Adelaide United. 

Jamie Maclaren scored on his A-League return as City and United played out a exciting draw. 

Socceroos forward Maclaren was playing in his first match back in the Australian top flight since April 2017 and rescued a point for Warren Joyce’s side midway through the second half. 

Earlier, Craig Goodwin had broken the deadlock with an impressive header just before the half time break. 

Harry McKirdy wasn’t involved as his Newport County side defeated second-place Mansfield in League Two. 

Robbie Willmott hit the winning goal at Rodney Parade after 15 minutes. 

Aaron Tshibola was an unused sub as Kilmarnock drew 0-0 with Rangers in the Scottish Cup. 

Ross McCormack was an 82nd minute substitution as Motherwell defeated St Mirren 2-1 away. 

Jake Hastie fired home the opening goal with a stunning 20-yard drive 10 minutes in. Paul McGinn's header levelled for St Mirren with 16 to play.  But just three minutes later, Allan Campbell glanced a cross into the net to consign the hosts to a sixth straight league defeat.
