Dean Smith says new signing Kortney Hause is available for selection at Wigan – but Henri Lansbury is a doubt.
We face the Latics at the DW Stadium on Saturday, kick-off 3pm.
Hause has trained for the past four days and Smith must now decide what role to give the centre-half this weekend.
Lansbury, meanwhile, has a tight hamstring and will be assessed in the next 24 hours.
Our Head Coach told Club TV: “We have Kortney Hause, of course, who has integrated into the squad really well.
“He’ll be available for selection, that’s for sure. He’s enjoyed the training sessions and he’s looked the part as well.
“Henri has a little bit of a tight hamstring, from the 20-odd minutes he played against Swansea. He looked really bright when he came on.
“I won’t rule him out for Saturday but we’ll have a good look at him, with the medical staff, and see how he is.
“He’s the only one really who is a doubt. Everyone else has come through training really well this week. We have players on the comeback trail. We have more numbers on the training ground now, which is good, too.”
Jack Grealish is a longer-term injury doubt but Smith said he’s on the comeback trail after starting very light training in Dubai.
He added: “He’s out of the boot. He’s stepping up the loading on his leg.
“He will gradually build that up into running and then when he’s running we can see what load he can tolerate and we can push him on. Hopefully it’ll be sooner rather than later.”
