Aston Villa’s first team stars spread plenty of festive cheer this week – as they visited Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
The visit formed part of our '12 gifts of Christmas' campaign as day five saw members of the senior squad – along with Dean Smith, John Terry, Richard O’Kelly, Neil Cutler and Christian Purslow - bring joy to the wards of the Hospital at this most special of times.
The lads went to Oncology inpatients (Ward 18 and Ward 19), Oncology outpatients, the Burns Centre, Intensive Care, Ward 5, Ward 8, Ward 9 and Ward 10.
They chatted with children, parents and staff, signed autographs and handed out goodie bags on the wards as part of the visit.
