Dean Smith says he expects to have Albert Adomah available to face Leeds next weekend.
Adomah, who’s been suffering with a foot injury since limping off against Birmingham City, has stepped up his fitness bid over the last few days.
He has been jogging this past week – and wasn’t far off being available for the Stoke City encounter.
But with a week of training ahead of Sunday’s big game, Adomah is expected to be considered for selection by Smith, who also has other players returning.
Mile Jedinak is expected to return to full training this coming week.
Birkir Bjarnason and Henri Lansbury, who were in light training these past few days, should step up too – with Jedinak, Bjarnason and Lansbury hoping to offer Smith some welcome selection decisions ahead of Sunday.
Meanwhile, Jack Grealish will be assessed at Bodymoor Heath as he battles a shin injury.
Head Coach Smith told us: “There’s not really an update on Grealish but I’m expecting Adomah to come back for Leeds.
“I’m expecting Lansbury to be back as well, Jedinak too – even Bjarnason as well.
"Hopefully I am spoilt for choice next week.”
