Aston Villa Ladies host Sheffield United at Boldmere St Michaels FC on Sunday in the FA Women’s Championship.

The Ladies have already faced the Blades twice this season, and with those encounters producing eight goals, there are plenty of reasons to attend the match. 

See below for information on parking, matchday activities, tickets and more.


With adult tickets priced at £5 and U18s and O65s at £2, the match represents great value for supporters.

Online tickets are available to buy here up until Friday afternoon but fans will still be able to purchase tickets on the turnstile at Boldmere.

Aston Villa Season Ticket holders get free entry into all the Ladies’ league games and will only need to present their Season Card upon entry.


Parking and public transport

There are a number of free parking options if you’re driving to the game on Sunday.

There are a limited number of spaces available at the ground allocated on a first come first serve basis and once the car park is full, supporters will be directed to additional car parks.

Boldmere Infant and Nursery School on Cofield Road will be manned and offers parking free of charge.

Meanwhile, the two closest train stations, Wylde Green and Chester Road, offer parking alternatives for supporters.If you’re travelling to the game by bus or train, you can plan your journey here.

Pick up a programme

The Ladies programme has been revamped, expanded and improved this season, offering fans more content to enjoy.

Each programme features custom artwork by illustrator Damien Quinn, and this week’s edition serves both Sunday’s game against Sheffield United and next Thursday’s League Cup clash with Manchester City.

The programme is packed with player interviews, games and features, and is available on the turnstile for just £2.

Get in earlyThe gate opens from 1:30pm on Sunday, giving fans a chance to grab refreshments or take part in our pre-match activities.

Boldmere is a new ground for the Ladies this season and a lot of supporters, including visiting fans, may be unfamiliar with the venue.


Matchday activities

There is plenty of entertainment for supporters to enjoy before and after the game.

A Fan Zone located behind the far goal will be running football drills before the game thanks to coaches from the Aston Villa Foundation.

When the players head in for the half-time interval, a number of young footballers the Foundation’s Player Development Centres will take to the pitch.

After the game, Villa players will be available to sign autographs and take pictures in the corner of the pitch nearest to the turnstile as you come in.

Facilities and accessibility

Supporters will be able to enjoy refreshments before, during and after the game.

A food kiosk located next to the tunnel provides hot and cold food, while if you venture into the club house you can enjoy a drink at the bar.

Boldmere St Michaels is fully accessible by wheelchair. Stewards will be on hand to assist with entry into the ground via the main reception or on arrival at the turnstile/gate. There is also an accessible toilet located in the main club house.
