Matchday guide: Sir Doug Ellis tribute and more info for Saturday

Here you'll find all the matchday information ahead of our clash with Swansea City on Saturday.

We'll look to kick-start our season in front of what is looking like a sell-out crowd for new Head Coach Dean Smith's first game in charge.

See below for all the FAQs on tickets, entertainment, travel, parking and more.

RIP Sir Doug Ellis

There will be a minute's applause prior to kick-off on Saturday to pay tribute to our former Chairman Sir Doug Ellis, who sadly passed away last week.

Make sure you get to your seat in good time in order to pay your respects.

Tickets are on general sale, but is forecast to sell out by Wednesday afternoon.

Prices are £20-£33 for adults, £15-£20 for concessions, £10-£17 for U21s, £5-£10 for U18s and £45-£55 for a Family Package – which includes two adults and two U18s in selected areas of the stadium.

We recommend purchasing your tickets online to avoid queues in the build-up to the match. That way you can upload straight to your Membership card or use the print-at-home ticket service.

Tickets can be collected from the Villa Village Ticket Office up to 12.30pm on matchday.

After that, tickets can only be collected from the Trinity Road Ticket Office, which will open at 1pm.

Get in early

Please arrive at the Swansea match as EARLY as possible on Saturday.

With an expected sell-out crowd that includes Villa Park first timers and fans arriving close to kick-off , lots of people present will be unfamiliar with navigation around the stadium, so don't leave it until the final minutes to start heading to your seat.
