It's coming up to a year since award-winning online gambling operator Unibet became an Official Partner of Aston Villa.
And after 32Red were announced as our new Principal Partner for 2018/19, Unibet who are also part of the Kindred Group, have been confirmed as our Official Betting and Gaming Partner, and will feature on all first-team trainingwear for the new campaign.
Having enjoyed a season as front-of-shirt sponsor for both the first team and Villa Ladies teams, we can now reflect on a highly positive first year with betting company.
When coming on board, Unibet placed emphasis on putting fans at the heart of our partnership, creating a host of engaging opportunities for them to get closer to the players and club they love and create life-long memories.
Here we look back at the top 10 moments since our link-up, from kit reveals and Christmas cabins to Man of the Match experiences and the 'Play on the Pitch' campaign at Villa Park.
1. First eyes on new kit
Last June, Unibet gave one lucky fan the chance to be among the first to see the new kit for the 2017/18 season.
Club legend Ian Taylor picked up supporter Paul Trowman from his house and drove him to Villa Park for an exclusive look at the jersey.
Trowman was later invited to the Recon Training Complex to play in a mini tournament – making it a week to remember for the Villa fanatic.
2. Treat for 40 lucky fans
Trowman was joined by 39 other Villa fans at the training ground for the tournament in July, in what was a reward for pre-ordering the 2017/18 kit that featured our new Principal Partner.
As well as Taylor, claret and blue icons Stiliyan Petrov, Dion Dublin, Emile Heskey and Dean Saunders were on hand to participate and meet the competition winners.
3. Dublin surprise
Dublin was making people's day again later in July, when he delivered the new kit to 10 different houses of fans.
He also handed over three complimentary shirts to three supporters on behalf of Unibet in the Villa Store – later assisting with the shirt name and number printing process.
4. Scarf giveaway
Unibet supplied 1000 limited edition scarves to be given away at our opening Sky Bet Championship match of the season against Hull City at Villa Park.
They later did the same for fans making the short trip to St Andrew's for October's Second City Derby against Birmingham.
5. Happy Birthday to all
November's home match against Sunderland was our 143rd birthday and, to celebrate with those who were at the game and share the same date of birth, Unibet gave away a host of top prizes.
Lucky fans who were born on 21st November got to experience the match from the Unibet hospitality box, while five other supporters had signed shirts delivered to them at half-time by Petrov.
Free cupcakes were also given out to the crowds in and around the stadium that night.
6. Festive feeling
Christmas was another chance for Unibet to lay on some exclusive prizes for Villans.
Setting up a Christmas Cabin outside Villa Park, fans came in their droves and won everything from match hospitality boxes, signed shirts and retail vouchers for the Villa Store.
A half-time penalty shootout competition at the Sheffield United game saw yet more signed memrobilla given away.
7. Selfie booths
Our Principal Partner arranged for selfie booths to be put outside Villa Park for matches against Reading, Cardiff City and Leeds in the month of April.
There, fans recorded messages that were later used on the big screens to help drive the claret and blues to Wembley, while 28 who took part were picked for Unibet's once-in-a-lifetime 'Play on the Pitch' experience.
8. 'Play on the Pitch'
And it was a special day for all involved as they achieved their dream of walking out at the home of the Villa.
Captains and legends Dublin and Petrov were also in attendance, rounding off an unforgettable experience for the 28 winners who had the pleasure of taking to the turf.
9. Fun and games
Unibet have been at all our club content days for the 2017/18 season, putting together some terrific concepts for fans to enjoy across social media and YouTube.
From a kick-darts competition featuring the likes of Robert Snodgrass and Glenn Whelan and the lie detector test with Conor Hourihane and Albert Adomah, it’s given Villans the chance to see their heroes in comical situations like never before.
10. Man of the Match presentations
The ultimate money-can't-buy experience, Unibet have hosted two fans at each home game this season and laid on the complete matchday package.
Welcoming them to Villa Park for a pre-match visit, each pair has then watched the game from two unique Unibet seats near the dugout, before then choosing and handing the award over to their Man of the Match.
