Villa v Millwall: Five reasons to be at Villa Park for battle of the Lions

Be here as we host Millwall in the Sky Bet Championship this weekend – there's plenty of reasons to attend!

It's our penultimate fixture at Villa Park before Christmas, and with home form key to our promotion bid around the festive period, it's set to be an important afternoon.

Here's five reasons to be here for the visit of Millwall...

1) Our rise and rise

As has been the case for a few months now, we're right up there with the most in-form teams around.

We've taken 10 points from our four games since the last international break – putting us in the mix near the top of the form table.

Whether it's success in the last six or 10 games, the away form tables or defensive records, we're riding high across all the important stats.

2) 300,000 and up!

The Millwall game will see us smash the 300,000 attendance mark for the season.

After 10 league games so far, we've had 298,800 pass through the Villa Park turnstiles – just shy of a 30,000 average, but still among the best home crowds in the whole of England.

3) Festive spirit

December is firmly up and running and the Christmas football schedule well under way!

Be at Villa Park as we build up to the big day – hopefully with three all three points.

You may even spot some of our club Christmas Jumpers around the ground!

The jumpers are currently half price online and in the Villa Store, so grab one for yourself!

4) Taking advantage

While we've been flying in the league, Millwall had hit a bump in the road of late.

Neil Harris' men were winless in six games up until the weekend, when they stunned promotion-chasing Sheffield United at The Den.

The currently sit six points clear of the relegation zone after that win, in 17th.

5) Bargain buy

Tickets for the Millwall game are priced at just £20 to £33 for adults and £15 to £20 for concessions.

U21s can attend for between £10 to £17 and U16s from £5 to £10.

Family packages are available at £45 to £55 (two adults and two U16s).

Tickets are on general sale.

To buy, visit us in person, call 0333 323 1874 or buy from our online ticket office.
