Analysis

Villa U18s slipped to a late defeat at Reading U18s in their latest Premier League encounter.

The hosts were almost in the ascendency from the off, forcing Emmanuel Idem into a solid save.

The Royals should have then taken the lead midway through the first half when Isaiah Graham gave away a penalty, but their resulting spot-kick was rifled over the bar.

Early in the second half, Villa did go ahead through a penalty, with Dimitri Sea converting.

But in the final 10 minutes Reading struck twice, equalising from a corner and taking the points in added time with a long-range strike.
