Bruce on Wolves: We must embrace the challenge Match report: Wolves 2-0 Villa
The Boss: Bruce on Wolves loss, responding next week and fantastic away support

Steve Bruce spoke to club TV following the 2-0 defeat at Wolves.

His full views are below in full.

On a frustrating day at Molineux...

Sometimes you have to hold your hands up and say we were beaten by the better team on the day.

No matter how difficult it is to say it, anybody who saw the game would bear testament to it.

We didn't do enough without the ball, certainly where we've been a threat in recent weeks – at the top end of the pitch.

We huffed and puffed – that's the way we were today.

On how his team respond from here...

We can go on a run again.

That's the way the Championship works – look at the results today.

There's still a long way to go.

The winter's upon us – we're only a quarter of the way through.

We're disappointed in the manner that we've been beaten tonight.

But congratulations to Wolves, they deserved it.

They're going to be a threat for any team.

On returning to Villa Park next week...

We dust ourselves down and go again next weekend.

Fulham are another very good side – one of the best in the division alongside Wolves.

We've got to be better at home next Saturday.

Let's respond in the right way.

On more than 2,500 Villans in the away section...

They're nothing short of fantastic.

It's a given how good they are.

We didn't give them much to shout about today – that was unfortunate.

We weren't at the levels we've been in recent weeks.

Whether that's down to us or playing against a very good side, we'll let others judge.
