Steve Bruce and Sam Johnstone are up for top honours this month.
Bruce has been nominated for Manager of the Month for September while Johnstone is in the Player of the Month category.
There’s no question that September has been an epic time for those of claret and blue persuasion.
We have enjoyed four wins in succession to end the month – against Barnsley, Nottingham Forest, Burton Albion and Bolton Wanderers – with draws against Brentford and Middlesbrough at home to begin September.
Bruce has masterminded a jump to seventh in the Sky Bet Championship table in this time while Johnstone has conceded just one goal in those six games.
Bruce is up against Daniel Farke of Norwich City, Lee Johnson of Bristol City and Alex Neil of Preston North End.
Johnstone’s competition includes Aden Flint of Bristol City, Diogo Jota of Wolverhampton Wanderers and James Maddison of Norwich City.
The winners in both categories will be announced on Friday October 6.
The judging panel comprises Sky Sports pundit Don Goodman, League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet EFL Trader Mikey Mumford.
