Adomah: Let's keep this run going

Albert Adomah is keen to keep our winning run going as we enter a pivotal week before the latest international break.

The winger helped us to a second successive Championship victory at the weekend – scoring against Nottingham Forest to make it four goals in as many appearances.

Adomah is now eyeing another three points on Tuesday night, as the claret and blues go away to Burton Albion.

He said: "We've got back-to-back wins and that is what we needed – winning away and then at home.

"The key has been trying to play together as a strong unit and to be hard to beat.

"It was unfortunate to concede [against Forest], but we're unbeaten in nearly seven games now – we don't concede a lot of goals.

"Hopefully we can keep this run going and beat Burton on Tuesday night."

AdomahBlogservationsMainWebAfter scoring twice against Barnsley a week previous, it took Adomah just 15 minutes to find the net again on Saturday, after he latched on to Jonathan Kodjia's exquisite through ball to break the deadlock.

He is, without question, a man in form, and has credited his team-mates for his recent upturn in performances and goals.

He added: "It's [my goals] down to the team, not just to me – it's individual players working hard.

"The ball played through to me was brilliant from Kodjia. He's Jimmy Danger – my partner.

"It was great to get a goal from his work – it was roles reversed.

"Overall it was a great day for me and for the team as well.

"We had to be patient when they equalised, but we knew we'd get another chance because we're at home.

"I thought we performed extremely well."
