Scott Hogan has been selected by Republic of Ireland for the first time.
Hogan is in the provisional squad for the next round of international fixtures.
Ireland take on Moldova at the Aviva Stadium on Friday October 6 followed by a trip to Cardiff City Stadium on Monday October 9.
Both games are World Cup qualifying matches – with the second potentially pitting Hogan against James Chester and Neil Taylor.
Ireland are third in ‘Europe Group D’ with 13 points from eight games.
Wales are second with 14 points from eight games while Serbia top the group with 18 points from eight games.
