Steve Bruce looks set to welcome Josh Onomah back into the fold for the Barnsley game on Saturday.

However, the boss has concerns over the fitness of Neil Taylor and Mile Jedinak and will assess them in the next 24 hours to see if they can make the trip to Oakwell.

Bruce also revealed that Jack Grealish is “still a while away”.

He said: “The big concern at the moment is Neil Taylor.

“He has eight stitches in his shin. We will see how he is. That’s the biggest one.

“Grealish is still a while away. Onomah, we think, is going to be okay for tomorrow.

“Jedinak is a bit sore, which is a bit of a concern if I’m being honest.

“His groin was a bit sore and that’s why we took him off against Middlesbrough.”
