Aston Villa are pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Josh Onomah on a season-long loan from Tottenham Hotspur.
Onomah is eligible for this weekend’s Sky Bet Championship opener against Hull City after training with his new team-mates.
He heads here in bubbly mood after being an integral part of the England team which won the U20 World Cup this summer.

England's youngsters emerged victorious in South Korea and 20-year-old Onomah played in five of seven matches, excelling in the final as the Three Lions won 1-0 over Venezuela.
He made 12 senior appearances for Spurs in 2016/17, including a Champions League debut off the bench away at Bayer Leverkusen in October 2016.
The previous month saw him net his first top-level goal during a 5-0 home win over Gillingham in the EFL Cup.
Born and raised in Enfield, Onomah progressed through the age groups in the Tottenham Academy and actually made his Premier League debut against us in November 2015, coming on as substitute at White Hart Lane for Dele Alli.
He told us: “I can’t wait to get started.
