Harvey Knibbs has signed his first professional contract with us, putting pen to paper on a two-year deal.
A second-year scholar last term, 18-year-old Knibbs was a regular fixture for David Hughes’ U18 side.
He found the net four times in last season’s FA Youth Cup fifth round victory over Broxbourne Borough, when the Young Lions ran out 7-0 winners at Villa Park.
“I’m over the moon,” he said, shortly after signing his contract.
“It’s always been my dream to be a professional footballer and now I can live that dream.
“I know I’ve got a lot of hard work ahead of me but I’m looking forward to starting the season and getting back out on the pitch again.”
