Aston Villa is pleased to announce the signing of Sam Johnstone from Manchester United.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper has joined on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Johnstone has already clocked up a wealth of experience from previous loan spell away from Old Trafford.
He becomes manager Steve Bruce’s first signing of the transfer window – and the shot-stopper says he can’t wait to get started.
