Toner signs new two-year deal

Kevin Toner has penned a new two-year deal with Villa.

Toner made his senior breakthrough in the 2015/16 campaign.

The centre-back was introduced at half-time in the Villa Park meeting with Southampton in April 2016 and started our final trio of top-flight matches.

Now the defender, who can also play at left-back, has committed his future by signing a claret and blue contract.

In other news, Toner has also today agreed a five-month loan move to Walsall.

The Irish U19 international heads to the Banks’s Stadium until January and will be eligible to face Bury on Saturday in League One.
