Johnson discussed the vital win and his delight that the team responded after the break following a frustrating first-half display.

The all-action midfielder said a positive approach was key to the renewed vigour in the second period.

He spoke of his delight at scoring again and how he enjoyed turning provider to create the winning goal also.

Johnson also spoke of his joy that Drennan bagged the winner because of his determined approach in every game.

He also chatted about his joy at Villa being top of the Barclays Premier Reserve League South - and how he is determined to win the title this term.

Drennan, meanwhile, chatted about his pleasure at scoring the winner - and how he's told Johnson he'd bag a goal before the match.

He praised skipper Johnson for the way he leads the team and pushes them on in each match.

Drennan also chatted about the highs and lows of the past 24 hours - his delight at the reserves win and his disappointment at the FA Youth Cup loss to Brighton.

He also picked out Darren Bent as the striker he most admires in the first team.
