In the interests of speed and to avoid frustration we have provided a guide for locating car parks closest to the exit you use depending on where you are travelling from.
To find Villa Park as a reference point using your GPS our postcode is B6 6HE, which will assist in making sure you are in the correct part of Birmingham, but in general you will find Aston Villa as a Point of Interest (POI) in most GPS satellite navigation units.
Important note for matchdays - do not use the stadium as your destination on GPS satellite navigation units, unless you have access to stadium car parks (permit only). You should plan your journey in advance according to which direction you are travelling from, and you should use the Matchday Transport Map located at the bottom of this page to identify the official car park you intend to use. Use the postcode and address data of the car park (and not the stadium) in your GPS satellite navigation unit. Allow plenty of time to park and walk to the stadium - the earlier the better. The further away you park, the easier your journey home after the match will be.
If you travel by car, please plan your journey, and use the Matchday Transport Map available at the bottom of these travel sections to locate the most suitable official car park to use.
Information on parking restrictions is explained in the RESIDENTS PARKING SCHEME, which is in operation on matchday and fines apply to vehicles parking within residential areas. Please also read the TRAFFIC EXCLUSION ZONE that is enforced in the immediate vicinity of Villa Park on matchday, which may affect your journey.
Further information regarding the exclusion zones and parking restrictions is covered in the parking information section.
We recommend you exit junction 7 of the M6 and follow signs for Birmingham A34. After passing Alexandra Stadium stay in the nearside lane and leave the main carriageway. Matchday car parks are signposted on the left hand side.
The following official parking sites on the south side of the stadium are as follows:
Via Salford Junction / Lichfield Road - junction 6 of the M6 signposted A38
Via Park Circus -junction 6 of the M6 signposted A38 (M) City Centre
Please visit the Matchday Transport Map at the bottom of this page for more information.
