Travelling to Villa Park by road

In the interests of speed and to avoid frustration we have provided a guide for locating car parks closest to the exit you use depending on where you are travelling from.


Getting to Villa Park by car

To find Villa Park as a reference point using your GPS our postcode is B6 6HE, which will assist in making sure you are in the correct part of Birmingham, but in general you will find Aston Villa as a Point of Interest (POI) in most GPS satellite navigation units.

Parking Restrictions

If you travel by car, please plan your journey, and use the Matchday Transport Map available at the bottom of these travel sections to locate the most suitable official car park to use.

Information on parking restrictions is explained in the RESIDENTS PARKING SCHEME, which is in operation on matchday and fines apply to vehicles parking within residential areas. Please also read the TRAFFIC EXCLUSION ZONE that is enforced in the immediate vicinity of Villa Park on matchday, which may affect your journey.

Directions from the North West or South West

We recommend you exit junction 7 of the M6 and follow signs for Birmingham A34. After passing Alexandra Stadium stay in the nearside lane and leave the main carriageway. Matchday car parks are signposted on the left hand side.

Directions from the North East or South East

We recommend you exit junction 6 of the M6 and follow signs for the A38 (not A38M). At the island, turn right following signs for Villa Park. Matchday car parks are available in the vicinity - please visit the Matchday Transport Map for more information.

Getting here by motorbike

On matchday, parking for motorbikes is available at £2 per motorbike at the Aston Arena Car Park situated on Aston Hall Road. Please visit the Matchday Transport Map to find the location of the car park.

On non-matchdays, please use the stadium car parks.


Getting here by bicycle

We have secure cycle parking for up to 100 bicycles within Villa Park. These can be located on the Matchday Transport Map.


Getting here by taxi

Taxis can be ordered from the security lodge on Witton Lane, which is situated behind the North Stand, or by using telephones situated in the Holte Suite foyer or the Trinity Stand reception.

On non-matchday, our staff at North Stand reception will also assist booking you a return taxi.
