Villa v West Brom team news: Agbonlahor and Albrighton start

By Dan Harrison

Gabby Agbonlahor and Marc Albrighton are set for their first Barclays Premier League stars of the season in this afternoon's clash against West Brom.

Agbonlahor keeps his place in the Villa attack after a stunning two-goal display in the midweek Capital One Cup triumph at Manchester City.

Albrighton, who made his return from a foot injury in the win at the Etihad, has also earned a place in Paul Lambert's starting XI.

There are returns to the line-up for Brett Holman and Brad Guzan, who sat out Tuesday night's game.

Darren Bent and Charles N'Zogbia drop to the bench.

Meanwhile, West Brom have made two changes from last weekend's top-flight win over Reading.

Shane Long replaces match-winner against the Royals Romelu Lukaku, while Goran Popov comes in for ex-Villa defender Liam Ridgewell.

VILLA: Guzan, Lowton, Vlaar [c], Clark, Bennett, El Ahmadi, Delph, Albrighton, Holman, Agbonlahor, Benteke. Subs: Given, Bent, N'Zogbia, Lichaj, Bannan, Westwood, Weimann.

WEST BROM: Foster; Jones, McAuley, Olsson, Popov; Mulumbu, Yacob; Gera, Morrison, Brunt; Long. Subs: L Daniels, Tamas, El Ghanassy, Lukaku, Fortune, Dorrans, Rosenberg.
