Janoi Donacien

Janoi Donacien is an athletic central defender who has represented Villa in youth, reserves and NextGen Series competitions.

The St Lucia-born stopper was a regular fixture alongside Richard Bryan in the centre of defence for the U18 team in 2011-12.

He scored one goal in an 11-3 win over MK Dons in October - a result which halted a six-game losing run for the claret and blues.

Donacien was impressive in Villa's group stage victories over Fenerbahce, Rosenborg and Ajax - the boys in claret and blue shipping just one goal in those three encounters.

The defensive ace first came to prominence for Villa's U18 team in 2010-11.

He scored goals in victories over Reading and Bristol City in the Barclays Premier Academy League.
