Reece Caira![]()
The left-sided star from Gosford in Australia was unable to feature for the youth team in 2009-10 because of an issue over international clearance. He was forced to look on from the sidelines as his team-mates embarked on a run to the FA Youth Cup final. But after the off-field problem was resolved last season, Caira went on to become part of the team that won the Barclays Premier Academy League Group B title and reached the semi-finals of the FA Youth Cup. The left-back-cum-midfielder, whose footballing idol is fellow Aussie Tim Cahill, signed a one-year professional contract at the end of 2010-11 - a fitting reward for his determination to succeed. |
