***Callum Robinson is currently on a season-long loan at Bristol City.***

Callum Robinson is proving to be one of the most exciting talents to come through the Villa academy.

He spent time on loan at Preson North End in 2014/15 and made his debut as a substitute against a Chesterfield side featuring former Villa man Daniel Johnson.

His first professional goal came on 28 October, opening a 2-0 win at Leyton Orient.

Robinson scored a hat trick against Havant and Waterlooville in a 3-0 away win in the first round of the FA Cup.

Following a successful spell with Preston, scoring five  goals in 11 league and cup appearances, Robinson was recalled by Villa in November, despite his loan having been previously extended until January 2015.

Robinson returned to Preston on loan for the rest of the 2014/15 season.

In the summer of 2015, he joined Bristol City on a season long loan to gain further valuable experience.

The teenage hotshot scored some big goals in 2012-13 and was an integral part of the club's successful NextGen Series side.

The highlights of Robinson's campaign included a brace for the U18s against Manchester United in a 2-0 win at the Red Devils' Carrington training ground.

He also netted for the U21s in a 2-0 win over Blackburn at Hinckley.

But he saved his best performances for the NextGen Series finals weekend in Lake Como.

Robinson was at his industrious best, leading the line impressively alongside Graham Burke as Villa triumphed over Sporting CP and then Chelsea.

He proved himself as a prolific marksman during the 2011-12 campaign with 14 goals in all competitions.

Robinson began the season in style with a brace in the U18 team's 7-3 win over Crewe in the Barclays Premier Academy League.

Another brace came in the 3-1 victory over MK Dons in December, while further league goals followed against Watford and Crystal Palace.

But it was during the NextGen Series and Villa's title-winning Reserve League South campaign that Robinson showed his true potential.

After appearing as a substitute in the first NextGen Series group game against Ajax in Amsterdam, he was handed a start against Fenerbahce at Villa Park and scored with a glancing header from Samir Carruthers' cross as Villa earned a 4-0 victory.

Robinson went on to start in Villa's home and away games against Rosenborg and the return fixture against Ajax at Villa Park.

The England youth international enjoyed a remarkable introduction to the reserves set-up by bagging the winner in a 1-0 success over Chelsea at Hinckley in October.

And the following week a pair of instinctive strikes at Molineux helped Villa defeat Wolves 2-1.

Robinson shone yet again against Swansea City in February with both goals in a 2-0 triumph at the home of Llanelli Scarlets RFC.

He ended the domestic campaign with his second Villa Park goal which came in the reserve team's 4-0 demolition of Newcastle United.

There was also success on the international stage for the goalscoring prodigy.

Robinson fired England U17s to the Algarve Tournament title with a last-gasp strike against France.

The Three Lions side - featuring Villa trio Robinson, Joshua Webb and Jordan Graham - won the four-team competition after drawing 2-2 against Holland and defeating Portugal and France 2-1.

In 2010/11, Robinson proved to be Villa's secret weapon in the FA Youth Cup despite still being a schoolboy.
