Ryan Bertrand brings big-game experience to Villa despite his tender years.

Bertrand was signed from Chelsea in the January transfer window of 2014 on loan until the end of the season.

The 24-year-old has played in 56 games in all competitions for the Blues, including the 2011-12 Champions League final against Bayern Munich in the Allianz Arena.

In that mega match, he started against the German giants and was only replaced by Florent Malouda when injured after 70 minutes.

He has played for England at every level from U17s through to the senior side, making his full England debut against Italy in 2012.

He also played in four games at the London 2012 Olympics for Great Britain.

He has already scored at Villa Park too, hitting home in the Community Shield against Man City in 2012.

Bertrand has also enjoyed several loan spells in the past, spending time with Bournemouth, Oldham Athletic, Norwich City, Reading and Nottingham Forest before making his debut for Chelsea in April 2011 in a 3-1 win over Birmingham City at Stamford Bridge.
