Arsenal U18 2-3 Villa U18: Hepburn-Murphy inspires victory

Villa claimed their first maximum haul of the Barclays U18 Premier League campaign with a deserved 3-2 win at Arsenal.

Goals from Andre Green and Rushian Hepburn-Murphy inside the first 10 minutes gave the claret and blues the advantage.

But Stephy Mavididi reduced the arrears just before the break.

Hepburn-Murphy scored his second of the game nine minutes from time before Mavididi pulled another back for the Gunners.

However, Tony McAndrew's team held to leave London Colney with a deserved three points.

VILLA: Forth, Hale, R Strain, Suliman, Hailey, Lyons-Foster, Taylor, McKirdy, Hepburn-Murphy, Abdo, Green. Subs: Bannister, Clark, O'Hare, Lewis.
