Young guns to kick off U21 league campaign with Stoke clash
Gordon Cowans' team are set to welcome the Potters in their first game of 2014-15, which will take place at Bodymoor Heath.
The claret and blues will compete in Division Two of the revamped competition, having finished 15th in last season's 22-team league.

There will be four opportunities for supporters to see the Young Lions at Villa Park over the course of the campaign, starting with Arsenal on Thursday September 11.
West Bromwich Albion then visit B6 on Monday March 16, followed by Newcastle on Monday April 20 and Brighton on Monday May 18.
Villa's young guns will also get the chance to run out at The Hawthorns when they face the Baggies on Thursday October 16, St James' Park for the corresponding Newcastle fixture on Monday November 3, Brighton's Amex Stadium on Monday January 5, Reading's Madejski Stadium on Friday May 1 and the Riverside for the Middlesbrough clash on Friday May 8.
Meanwhile, Villa U21s will travel to Swindon Town for an additional pre-season friendly this Saturday.
