Entry is only £5 and includes your very own battery powered lantern and as you embark on your walk, you'll turn them on and shine together in support of Acorns.
When you finish you'll also get a special Lantern Walk medal! For more details and to sign up visit https://www.acorns.org.uk/lantern-walk
Gabby continues as Acorns ambassador
We are thrilled that Gabby Agbonlahor is continuing in his role as Acorns Player Ambassador again for the 2014-15 season - his fourth year in the role.
Acorns children Joel and Bradley - photographed above - recently met with Gabby, along with Matthew Lowton and Ashley Westwood at Bodymoor Heath.
This wasn't the first time Joel, an avid Aston Villa fan, has been in the company of the Villa squad, however.
In 2010, Stephen Ireland was on hand to help Joel design a Christmas card that was to be sold in aid of Acorns.
Joel and Bradley enjoyed the opportunity to meet the players in August at the club's Bodymoor Heath Training Ground and add a few more signatures to their collections.
There was even a surprise visit from Paul Lambert, who popped by to meet Acorns families on the day.
Established in 1988, Acorns Children's Hospice Trust is a registered charity offering a network of care for life limited and life threatened children and young people, and their families, across the heart of England.
These children and young people are not expected to reach adulthood and require specialist care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
In the last year Acorns has supported over 700 children and more than 1,050 families, including those who are bereaved.
Acorns relies on the public to fund the majority of its activities.
