Express and Star: West Brom will make a fresh attempt to strike a deal with neighbours Aston Villa for Alan Hutton this week in a bid to fill another vacancy. But Liverpool prospect Andre Wisdom has emerged as a rival target, if the two Midlands rivals cannot agree terms over Scottish international Hutton.

Express and Star: Aston Villa were today closing in on Swansea midfielder Ki Sung-Yeung as midfielder Fabian Delph was linked with West Ham. South Korea midfielder Ki has reportedly held talks, with manager Paul Lambert hoping to complete a deal this week. Ki impressed on loan at Sunderland last season, helping them avoid the drop from the Premier League.

ClubCall: Aston Villa are reported to be closing in on a deal for Swansea City midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng. Villa chief Paul Lambert is looking to bring in a player who can operate in a holding midfield role and 25-year-old South Korean international Ki fits the bill perfectly.

Sky Sports: Aston Villa striker Callum Robinson wants to repay manager Paul Lambert's faith in him by making an impact this season. Lambert handed the 19-year-old his first-team debut in a Carling Cup tie against Tottenham last September, following that with four substitute appearances in the Premier League in the closing stages of a disappointing campaign for the club.

Shields Gazette: Aston Villa are closing in on the signing of former Sunderland loanee Ki Sung-Yueng. The West Midlands' outfit entered into talks with both the Swansea player and his agent over the weekend which are proving productive. And Villa manager Paul Lambert is believed to be hopeful of pressing a deal through by the end of the week.

FourFourTwo: Aston Villa midfielder Kieran Richardson is excited to work with Roy Keane again after claiming he revitalised his career. Richardson played with Keane at Manchester United and linked up with him at Sunderland when the Irishman was manager. The 29-year-old winger joined Villa from Fulham last week and is looking forward to once more teaming up with Keane, who was recently appointed as Paul Lambert's assistant and helped Richardson through one of the toughest moments of his career.

BBC Sport: Aston Villa midfielder Yacouba Sylla has completed his season-long loan move to Kayseri Erciyesspor. The Turkish top-flight side posted a picture of the 23-year-old on their website,stating: "We have signed Sylla on a one-year loan."
